Use this command to display or hide the Toolbar, which includes buttons for some of the most frequently used commands in Transcribe!. A check mark appears next to the menu item when the Toolbar is displayed.

Use this command to display or hide the spectrum display which appears above the piano keyboard graphic. If you are transcribing very simple material, or if your ear is very good, then you might find the spectrum display unnecessary and distracting.
With the Preferences command you can choose whether the spectrum is displayed by default in new windows.
If you want to hide both spectrum and piano, then drag the splitter bar down as far as it will go.
A check mark appears next to the menu item when the Spectrum is displayed.
